Playing La Marquise in Hillwood's Annual French Festival

Happenstance Theater will bring the 18th-century French court to life in a short play in celebration of Bastille Day at the Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens. The play will be presented outdoors several times over the course of the day-long celebration. Other French Festival attractions include the New York Baroque Dance Company, Kevin Shannon on baroque guitar, Marjorie Merriweather Post's collection of 18th-century French decorative arts, and French language lessons led by L'Alliance Française de Washington.
